Together with our partners, we organised a major traditional Ukrainian event to celebrate Ukraine’s 33rd year of independence. Two venues – Versoix and Lausanne – featuring concerts, food and craft fairs.

Here are some of the results :

• Over 1,700 visitors attended our events, and 300 volunteers helped out.
  365 portions of borsch, 4,200 dumplings, 700 pies and several hundred litres of kvass, uzvar and compote were sold.
• During the holidays, pottery, drawing and 3D modelling workshops were organised, and a festive concert with authentic songs and children’s performances left lasting memories for guests and participants alike. We would like to thank all the masters of painting, jewellery, embroidery and rag dolls who created the authentic atmosphere of the Sorochynska Fair.
